Well a break from study I decided to play a $3 SnG. Played really well I thought, trapping 2 players on different occasions and nicking their chips. Heads up was extremely difficult, we lasted about 40 hands through it but I got the edge eventually after throwing away a 6:1 chip lead to reverse it in his favour. 1 big hand and 1 big bluff later and I'm in control & finished him off after I outkicked his trips with my own and put him on tilt, was only a matter of time then...
$3 + $0.30 - 10 Seater - 1st place - $15 returned
Ok so thats 5 wins in the last 6 SnG's, I'm quite proud of myself and hoping to keep grinding these SnG's. Patience is the key, don't gamble away a portion of your stack at the start and everything should fall into place. Still awaiting my withdrawl from PS to Moneybookers but hoping it's only a time delay and they're not going to be bitchy about it and ask for ID. Gonna take a break till Thursday at the earliest as I've an exam then and may want to relieve some stress with a game. Anyway updated table below;
Starting Bank: $0
Freerolls played/cashed: 2/2
- Profit: $14.50
SnG's Played: 52
Staked (incl. reg fee): $254.10
- Won: 11 (21.1%)
- Cashed: 27 (51.9%)
Main Bank: $89.40 (PokerSatellites)
MoneyBookers: $50
Total Bank: $139.40
Here We Go...
Hey there,
The main details of this venture can be found in the first post. This is similar to Chris Ferguson's challenge, who turned $5 into $10,000 through only playing on FullTilt. I cashed $6.50 on a freeroll on Pokersatellites.com and through alot of SnG grinding turned it into a decent bankroll of ~$300.
Apologies that gap & cease in updates, it got tedious trying to update while multitabling at the same time so I just focussed on playing.
Good luck at the tables!
