Ahhh!!!! Bad beats are starting to kick in BIG TIME! 3 SnG's to report of, all 3 have gone out to horrible beats. KK vs. KJ, 88 vs. A2 both all in preflop. And the latest; calling a minraise in the BB with JT, flop comes J-T-4, I check-raise all-in only to be called by none other than A2, guess what runner-runner cards came up?! Argh!!!!

Never Drink and Dri...err Play Poker

Ok I messed up a bit over the weekend after a few drinks and played when I shouldn't have. Didn't want to post again until I redeemed myself. Anyway here goes;

Showed good judgement while pissed to get out when I did lol. You can see by the placings how i busted out alot earlier with the more drink i had. It makes you get impatient and want to gain chips as fast as possible. Anyway finally remembered to play the PokerSatellites freeroll again tonight and I made the final table again, 2 from 2!



So bank now stands just under the $100 mark and I plan to start playing SnG's again maybe Thurs/Fri, hopefully we'll be shooting up in profit again! Decided to add a freeroll part to the table also.

Yesterday

I did play 2 SnG's yesterday but was too tired after finishing to post, that and the 12 hour shift I worked today. Anywho no serious change in the bank roll to report of, just a loss of $1 since the last update.

I did play quite well in the SnG i bubbled out on. Played cowboys really sneakily in late position and reeled a guy in with KJ on a J high board, the K river helped push the rest of his chips into the middle too hehe. However didn't catch many cards since then and was pretty much blinded out.

I've also decided to add some new statistics to the Bank below as tbh it does look quite bare. I will have total SnG's played, staked, won & cashed to lavish up the blog a bit. Also switched around main/total bank, have no idea why they were the other way around to begin with.

Some more SnG's to report of, have been playing quite well but now starting to get a few bad beats. But we do pass the $100 mark so playing $5 SnG's will be safe from now.

The game where i finished 4th was the most horrible game of my life. On the bubble i was outdrawn 8 times (where my opponent was all in each time) when I had them dominated. 5 times off the 1 person, hitting miracle cards continuously. I felt I was playing well however and continued playing making a nice profit from it.

I have now decided that when i win a SnG that i will freeroll myself into the next highest buyin SnG. ie. if I win a $5 i'll move to a $10, $10 for $15, etc... Reason being i'll already have made 3 times my money and have a chance of making a big jump in bankroll. Also since I will be playing well and feeling confident.

I also plan on trying to cash in a freeroll on another site so I will have an account to fall back on if this goes pear shaped.

Well 1st SnG was a $0.10 + $0.02 and surprisingly with 1,000 starting stacks we still had 6 players left @200/400 blinds. Managed to stay there or there abouts throughout, slowrolling Cowboys on the final hand to take down the $0.50 1st Prize.

Well if Chris Ferguson can do it, why can't I?

Well he is one of the top Pro's but it should be fun none the less.

This will be a project mainly based on improving/maximising Bankroll management.

Anyway some rules I will be abiding to & details to clear things up:



*I will be starting with a bankroll of $2.50 on PaddyPowerPoker (reason being they allow SnG's as low as $0.10 + $0.01/$0.02 which will give me >20 attempts before i go bust).

*My aim is to use at max 5% of my bankroll on any one table, though when stakes get higher I will try to reduce this % for a more stable profit.

*I will only be participating in 10 seater SnG's on the site for the moment.

*I will participate in freerolls on PPP & other sites.

*I will update all results on here as close to as they happen as possible.
